ATG had been running for years on a slow and broken MS Access application. They finally came to us to create a new system that will utilize the robustness of MS SQL Server and .Net programming. In 3 months time we were able to develop a cradle to grave, client/server application that handled cruise bookings in a much more flexible and user friendly fashion. ATG can now book multiple passengers, but invoice them separately or in groups. Invoices can be printed or emailed automatically from within the system. They can continue to track those invoices, make adjustments, and denote received payment all from within the program’s financial backend. We also incorporated features like: name badge/label printing, internal user-to-user messaging, and advanced searching features.

Reaching beyond automating the normal, daily business processes of ATG, we wanted to equip them with crucial business intelligence. As standard with most all applications, the system included an admin panel to manage and view employee statistics, custom made reporting, and data grids to run analysis on key performance indicators and trends. To finalize the project, we proceeded to consult with ATG on a hosting plan and server that would adequately fit their needs, yet future proof them through times of heavy growth. The server was setup within a week’s time by our certified network staff and an auto backup feature and increased security (such as database injection prevention techniques, and an SSL on MSSQL Server traffic) were added.
